Soccer balls are divided into 3 according to their size:
1- Number 5 Soccer Balls
It is the size of the ball, which is determined by FIFA and can be played by those over the age of 12. Its circumference is 68.5-69.5 cm. is Its weight is between 420-445 grams.
2- Number 4 Soccer Balls
It is the ball size that athletes between the ages of 8-12 can play. Its circumference is 63.5-66 cm. is Its weight is between 350-390 grams.
3- Number 3 Soccer Balls
It is the ball size that athletes under the age of 8 can play. Its circumference is 61-62 cm. is Its weight is between 320-350 grams.
Soccer balls are divided into 3 according to their intended use:
1- Outdoor Soccer Balls
We can describe these balls as the balls used in the matches we watch on television. Its general characteristics are as above and it should have a pressure ratio of 0.8 bar.
2- Futsal Balls
Since futsal balls are used in the hall, they are produced with a special leather and their bouncing feature is reduced. Used as number 4 or 3. It should have a pressure of 0.6 bar and a weight of 410-430 grams.
3- Beach Soccer Balls
Number 5 balls used in beach soccer competitions. Like outdoor soccer balls, it should have a pressure of 0.8 bar and a weight of 420-440 grams.
